🔼 2-For-2. Sophomore middle distance runner Dan Watcke has set two school records in as many starts this indoor season! On Friday, he set the Villanova indoor record in the 800m at the Penn State National Open. Long jumper Justin Miller moved to 10th on the Wildcats all-time indoor list. On Saturday, CJ Sullivan and Nick Sullivan recorded personal bests in the 3000m.
On the women’s team, Alex Stasichin ran the eighth-fastest 600m time in school history! Roschell Clayton finished first in the high jump, her first competition since the Jamaican Olympic trials.

🔼 Pretty In Pink. The women’s basketball team took down Marquette 65-53 on Sunday! Bronagh Power-Cassidy went 4-for-4 from three-point range in the first half. She finished the game with 14 points. Jasmine Bascoe led the Wildcats with 17 points and six assists. Denae Carter scored 15 with six rebounds. The Wildcats will play at Butler on Wednesday.

🔼 Heartbreaker. The men’s basketball team heartbreakingly lost to Creighton 62-60 on Saturday in South Philly. The Bluejays made a 3-pointer to take the lead with 5.8 seconds remaining. Eric Dixon surpassed 2,000 career points in the first half, finishing the game with 17 points. Wooga Poplar led the Wildcats with 24 points. They’ll play at DePaul on Wednesday at 9 p.m.

🔼 Sunshine State Of Mind. The Wildcat golf team gets the spring season started today at BIG EAST Match Play in West Palm Beach, Florida. They enter this tournament as the eight-seed and will face off against top-seeded Marquette this morning.
