🔼 Super Saturday. Sporting the second-longest active win streak in the BIG EAST, the Villanova men’s hoops team welcome #6 UConn to town for a Super Saturday matchup at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.

The ‘Cats are looking to extend their current six-game win streak against the Huskies, who are just a game up in the loss column. Both teams are jockeying for a shot at a top-two seed in the upcoming conference tournament next month.

Tip time on TNT and truTV is set for 5:30 pm.

🔼 Back To Work. After giving #1 UConn all they could handle on Wednesday night, the Villanova women’s basketball team is back to work this Sunday when they welcome Marquette to Finneran Pavilion for the final regular season home game of the season.

Super sophomore Jasmine Bascoe continued her torrid pace, reaching 20+ points for the sixth time in the past nine outings earlier this week. On the season, the Milton, Ontario, native is averaging 18.4 ppg, good for second in the conference.

Tip time on Sunday against the Golden Eagles is set for 3:30 pm on Peacock.

🔼 Hunting Hardware. Two days into the BIG EAST Championships in Ocala, Fla., the Villanova swimming & diving squads are off to a strong start.

After suffering a devastating ACL injury back in March of 2024, former Villanova standout Saddiq Bey is having a breakout party in his fifth season in the NBA, averaging a career-best 16.6 points per game through the first half of the year with the New Orleans Pelicans.
