🔼 Fell Short. A late push by UConn gave the Huskies the 66-59 win over Villanova last night. They went on a 23-6 run in the last 10 minutes of the game. Wooga Poplar led the Wildcats with 19 points, while Eric Dixon was close behind with 17. The Wildcats and UConn split the season series 1-1.

🔼 Bigger Than Basketball. The women’s basketball team will host Georgetown tonight at 7 p.m., presented by Main Line Health. It’s the Wildcats’ annual Play4Kay game, promoting breast cancer awareness. It’s also LeVeL night, raising able-ism awareness! Wear pink and come out to support the Wildcats!
The new 2025 Ford Explorer® SUV has been redesigned inside & out. From its unique front grille and wheels to the flexible seating for up to seven passengers, and the latest advances in driver-assist technologies, this Explorer® is taking its legacy to a whole new level. No wonder Explorer® has been America’s best-selling SUV of all-time.

🔼 Deal Us In. Wildcat pitcher Lexi Kobryn picked up two honors this week as she was named BIG EAST Pitcher and Freshman of the Week! She threw two complete game shutouts at the Joan Joyce Classic and improved to 3-0 in the circle. Ava Franz was named to the Weekly Honor Roll after leading the team at the plate. She went 6-for-11, batting .545 with four runs scored, two homers and 12 total bases.

🔼 One Down. Another Villanova pitcher received BIG EAST honors! Bobby Olsen was named to the Weekly Honor Roll after his start on Friday. He held Rice to just one run over six innings, striking out seven. He now has a 1.50 ERA and 0.50 WHIP to start the season. He’ll likely start on Friday in his home state of South Carolina as the Wildcats play at Winthrop.

🔼 Back In Action. The women’s lacrosse team is back at Villanova Stadium today! They’ll host Stony Brook at 1 p.m. The Wildcats are coming off a narrow 17-16 loss to No. 16 Navy.
