🔼 20/20 Vision. A big afternoon from senior Duke Brennan helped the Villanova men’s basketball team to a decisive 80-69 road win at Creighton on Saturday for the team’s 20th victory over the season.

Brennan (21 points, 12 rebounds) and Tyler Perkins (17 points, 11 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles to lead the way, while sophomore Malachi Palmer provided a huge spark off the bench with 10 points.

🔼 Flyin’ High. Thanks to a dominant second half, the Villanova women’s basketball team picked up a tough BIG EAST road win with a 74-64 defeat of Creighton on Sunday evening to improve to 21-5 overall and 14-3 in league action.

The trio of Jasmine Bascoe, Kennedy Henry and Denae Carter were outstanding for the ‘Cats, combining 54 points, 19 rebounds, eight assists and eight steals.

🔼 Wrecking Records. A new shipment of ink may be required for the Villanova track & field record books after the Wildcats busy weekend with four school records and two more top-10 performances highlighting the performances. Junior Olivia Allen and grad student Lizzie Martell smashed the indoor records in the 400m and 800m, while grad student Maria Deaviz once again tied her own school record in the shot put.

🔼 Sweets & Sweepin’. On a weekend where sweets were shared all over by loved ones, it was sweeps that the Villanova water polo team enjoyed, rolling to a perfect 3-0 weekend at the Bucknell Invite.

Riley Hull led the way for the ‘Cats scoring four goals in all three of the victories.

🔼 Head Of Class. Last week, the Finneran Pavilion hosted a special group of ‘Cats as nearly 130 Villanova student-athletes were honored on Tuesday night during the men's basketball game against Marquette for achieving a 4.0 GPA in 2025.
