🔼 Weathered The Storm. The men’s basketball team upset another top-10 team on Wednesday! They defeated No. 9 St. John’s 73-71 after Tyler Perkins made a three-pointer with just under 10 seconds left. Wooga Poplar led the team with 22 points, while Eric Dixon scored 17.
The Wildcats will play at Providence tomorrow at 6 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

🔼 30-Piece. The women’s basketball team took down DePaul 62-56 on Wednesday night. The story of the evening was Maddie Webber’s career-high 30-point game! She made five three-pointers, including four in the first quarter. Denae Carter led the Wildcats and the game with 13 rebounds.
The Wildcats will play at Xavier on Sunday at 2 p.m.

🔼 World Travelers. Baseball season is finally here! The Wildcats will open 2025 at the inaugural Puerto Rico Challenge this weekend. The first game of the weekend is tonight at 7 p.m. when the Wildcats play Rice for the first time in program history. Tomorrow, they’ll play No. 2 Virginia at 7 p.m. They’ll close the season on Sunday at 10 a.m. against Michigan. All three games will stream on ESPN+.

🔼 All-Around Effort. The women’s lacrosse team took down Saint Joseph’s 14-10 on Wednesday behind a full team effort. Eight Wildcats scored goals, including four from freshman Leslie Iorio. Emma Verhoest grabbed eight draw controls and Skylar Nixon led the team with four ground balls.
The Wildcats will play Navy tomorrow at 3 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the men’s team. The men will host No. 9 Yale at noon, presented by Wegmans.

🔼 In The Polls. Wildcat water polo is ranked for the first time in program history! The team came in at No. 23 in the AWPWC poll and No. 25 in the CWPA poll. They’ll host Siena College tomorrow at 1 p.m. for the Every Mind Matters game.

🔼 Playin’ In Paradise. Villanova softball is headed to Boca Raton, Florida for the Joan Joyce Classic at FAU! They’ll play two today, first against Louisville at 9 a.m. then against Florida Atlantic at 1:30 p.m. Tomorrow, they’ll play Minnesota at 11:15 a.m. They’ll close the weekend on Sunday against Dartmouth at 10:45 a.m. Fans can stream all four games on FloSoftball. Today’s game against FAU will be available on FAUsports.com.
