🔼  Defend The Finn. The men’s basketball team will host their second top-10 opponent of the season at the Finn! They’ll play No. 9 St. John’s, presented by Main Line Health, tonight at 6 p.m. in front of a sellout crowd. Last month, the Wildcats beat No. 8 UConn at the Finn. The Red Storm defeated the Huskies on Friday. Tonight’s game will air on FS1.

🔼  Ones To Remember. Women’s basketball’s Jasmine Bascoe was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week! She averaged 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game last week against Butler and Creighton.

The Wildcats will play at DePaul tonight at 8 p.m.

🔼 Haul ‘Em In. The honors don’t stop with women’s basketball! Women’s lacrosse player Leslie Iorio was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week after scoring two goals in her collegiate debut against Binghamton. Sami Carey and Emma Verhoest landed on the BIG EAST Honor Roll.

The Wildcats will host Saint Joseph’s today at 1 p.m.

🔼 Grand Ol’ Time. We’re not done yet! Villanova softball’s Maranda Runco was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week! She led the Wildcats and the conference with a .583 batting average at Texas A&M over the weekend. Her most memorable weekend highlight was a pinch-hit grand slam against Purdue! She recorded a hit in all five games.
