🔼 Upset Season. Villanova men’s basketball upset No. 14 Cincinnati last night, winning 68-60! The Wildcats spoiled the Bearcats’ undefeated season behind Eric Dixon’s 31 points and a great defensive effort. Wooga Poplar recorded his first Wildcat double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jhamir Brickus scored 13 points with nine assists and zero turnovers.

🔜 Villanova will play Temple around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center in the Big 5 Classic.

🔼 All That Jas. Women’s basketball’s Jasmine Bascoe was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week! She averaged 19 points and 5.5 assists per game last week. She scored a game-high 26 points against Saint Joseph’s on Sunday. She currently leads the Wildcats in scoring, assists and steals.
