🔼 May The Force Be With You. Saturday is Star Wars Night at The Finn! Get there early and you can get an exclusive Star Wars Game poster. The women’s basketball team will play St. John’s at 2 p.m. in their BIG EAST opener.

🔼 On To Omaha. The men’s basketball team is in Omaha, Nebraska to play Creighton tomorrow at 4 p.m. ET. Fans at home can watch on FS1. This is the third time in four seasons that Villanova has made a pre-Christmas trip to Creighton. In two games against Creighton last season, Eric Dixon averaged 25.9 points per game. The Wildcats look to extend their five-game winning streak and Creighton’s two-game losing streak.

🔼  All-American Kids. Two Wildcats earned Stats Perform FCS All-America honors for the 2024 football season! Cornerback Isas Waxter earned second team honors after totaling 33 tackles, forcing three fumbles, one fumble recovery and two pass breakups. Linebacker Brendan Bell was named to the third team. He reached double figures in tackles six times in 2024. He led the Wildcats with 126 tackles and 16 tackles for loss. Additionally, Bell scored three touchdowns this season.

🔼 Schedule’s Set. The 2025 Villanova football schedule is here! The schedule features 12 games, including six home and six road games. The non-conference schedule includes games against Morgan State, Colgate, Penn State and Sacred Heart. Conference play begins on September 20th against Monmouth and concludes on November 15th against Stony Brook, with the season finale being against Sacred Heart on November 22nd. The Wildcats have the most wins and highest winning percentage among CAA teams over the last five seasons.
