🔼 Survive & Advance. Villanova football survived the first round of the FCS Playoffs, defeating Eastern Kentucky 22-17. The Wildcats came back from a 14-0 deficit after nine minutes of action. Two field goals in the fourth quarter by Ethan Gettman pushed Villanova ahead. The 2024 Wildcats now own the longest home winning streak in program history with 16 wins. They advance to the second round to play No. 6 University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Headed To The ‘Ship. The women’s basketball team defeated Saint Joseph’s 81-65 to advance to the Big 5 Championship! Jasmine Bascoe led the Wildcats with 26 points, adding four rebounds, four assists and two steals. The Wildcats won their Big 5 pod with a 2-0 record. They’ll play Temple in the championship game on Friday at The Finn.

🔼 That’s A Wrap. Villanova volleyball’s season came to an end in the BIG EAST Semifinals. They fell to Marquette 3-0 to put a lid on the 29th winning season in program history. They finished the season with a 17-14 overall record and made their 25th BIG EAST Tournament appearance.

🔼 Time For Battle. The men’s basketball team will host Cincinnati, presented by Rich Mar Florists, for the Big 12/BIG EAST Battle tomorrow! Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on FS1. The Wildcats are coming off a dominant win over Rider on Wednesday, while Cincinnati enters the game with a 6-0 record.
