🔼 Movin’ On. The fun started early and often as a career day from junior running back Isaiah Ragland blistered the turf for a 45-yard touchdown on the opening series to set the tone as the sixth-ranked Villanova football squad marched into the second round of the FCS playoffs with a dominant 52-7 victory over Harvard on Saturday.
Ragland rushed for a career-high 152 yards and the Wildcats had 319 yards on the ground en route to a season high 513 yards of total offense.
With the win, Villanova advances to a second round game at #5 national seed Lehigh (12-0) next Saturday at 12 p.m. in Bethlehem, Pa.

🔼 Bragging Rights On The Line. With the Thanksgiving holiday in the rear-view mirror and Christmas on the horizon, Villanova gets back to its schedule with a pair of key Philadelphia Big Five matchups this week. That stretch kicks off Monday night at Finneran Pavilion when the Wildcats (5-1 overall, 1-0 Big Five) hosts Temple (4-3 overall, 1-0 Big Five) in the final pod game of this year's event.
The winner advances to Saturday night's championship game of the Big Five Classic at Xfinity Mobile Arena against Penn (2-0 Big Five). The other squad will compete in the second game of the tripleheader Saturday afternoon in South Philadelphia.

🔼 Country Roads. Looking for a fourth straight win, the Villanova women’s hoops squad is taking the country roads to battle 21st-ranked West Virginia tonight in Morgantown.
Jasmine Bascoe has picked up where she left off last season, averaging 16.7 ppg through the first seven games of the year.
Tip time is set for 7 pm tonight.

🔼 Have A Day CB! Former Villanova standout Christian Benford celebrated the Wildcats FCS playoff win by having his own big game in the Bills’ win in Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon.
Benford opened up the second half with a fumble recovery for a score and just minutes later added his first INT of the year to his stat sheet.
