🔼 Title Town. The men’s cross country team won the Mid-Atlantic Regional title! The win gives the Wildcats an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships. Liam Murphy won his third-straight individual Mid-Atlantic Regional title. All five Wildcat scorers earned all-region honors. The NCAA Championships will take place on November 23.

The women’s team finished fifth at the meet. Sadie Sigfstead, Emma McGill and Nikki Vanasse earned all-region honors. Sigfstead finished third overall and qualified for the NCAA Championship as an individual.

🔼 Squeezed By. The women’s basketball team defeated Columbia on Saturday, 68-67. Denae Carter scored the game-winning free throw with one second left on the clock. Maddie Burke recorded the first double-double of her career, scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. She shot 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats will host Penn on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

🔼 Conference Shootout. Wildcat football fell to Monmouth 40-33, scoring their second-highest point total of the year. Connor Watkins set a career-high with 20 completions, throwing for 235 yards and scoring three touchdowns. David Avit rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown, with a career-high three receptions and 43 receiving yards. The Wildcats will close out the regular season next weekend, hosting Delaware.

🔼 Sweep Dreams. Villanova volleyball swept Butler for the second time this season! Abby Harrell led the Wildcats with 13 kills, she continues her four-match streak with double-digit kills. The Wildcats make their way back home for their last two regular-season games, hosting Providence and UConn this upcoming weekend.

🔼 Onto The Next. The men’s basketball team fell to Virginia 70-60 at the Hall of Fame Series Baltimore. Eric Dixon led the team with 20 points, adding eight rebounds. Jordan Longino was the other Wildcat with double-digit scoring, recording 10 points. They’ll host Penn tomorrow at 7 p.m. on Peacock.
