🔼 Northern Exposure. A dominant effort on both sides of the ball and a 30-point scoring run from the second quarter on sparked the 18th-ranked Villanova football squad to a 37-7 victory over host New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon.

It is the largest margin of victory for Villanova over its longtime conference rival and mascot namesakes since the 2009 postseason, and the team's biggest road win in the series in 23 years.

Junior running back Ja’briel Mace had quite a day with three a touchdown on all three of his touches in the contest.

🔼 Earning The Split. The Villanova field hockey squad picked up a split on their trip to the nation’s capital, including a convincing 5-0 rout of BIG EAST foe, Georgetown on Friday.

Ava Borowski found the back of the cage twice, while Gemma Lysaght added a goal an assist for the Wildcats in the victory.

🔼 Feeling Golden. A strong all-around team performance and a surge to the finish line by its top three runners sparked an upstart Villanova team to the women's gold race championship at the Paul Short Run early Friday afternoon.

Each of the team's five scoring runners finished in the top 61 overall out of more than 350 runners on the starting line, and the Wildcats tallied a five-point victory over runner-up Penn State and the rest of a field of 40 teams.

🔼 Splitting It Up. The Villanova volleyball squad picked up a BIG EAST split at home, sweeping their way past Butler on Friday night, before dropping a tough five-set match to Xavier on Saturday.

Abby Harrell had a monster weekend for the ‘Cats, piling up 33 kills and 21 digs. Harrell, Campbell McKinnon and Marly Smith each had a double-double in the Saturday showdown with Xavier.
