🔼 Traveling ‘Cats. Conference play is back as the fifth-ranked Villanova football team heads to Long Island to play at Stony Brook. Things will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on FloSports. Both teams are 1-0 in conference play, Villanova with a win over Towson and Stony Brook with a win over Campbell.

🔼 It’s A Draw. The women’s soccer team ended a three-game home losing streak last night! They finished in a 1-1 draw with DePaul. Susanna Soderman scored her second goal of the season for the Wildcats. Hannah Dickinson recorded four saves in the net.

🔼  Wildcats vs. Wildcats. The men’s basketball team will host the Blue-White Scrimmage on Tuesday. There are no excuses to miss out because admission is free! Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. inside Finneran Pavilion.

🔼 On The Road, Again. The field hockey team is on the road for two games this weekend! They’ll play at No. 8 UConn at 1 p.m. today. Then, they’ll play at Penn on Sunday, also at 1 p.m. The Wildcats are 2-0 in BIG EAST play and have won four of their last five games. Their record has them tied for first in the conference with UConn.

🏆 Meghan Mitchell and Maddi Sears landed on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this week.

🔼 Just Keep Winning. Villanova volleyball looks to extend their six-match win streak on the road this weekend! They’re taking a trip to the Midwest to play at DePaul tonight at 8 p.m. and Xavier on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Wildcats are 2-0 in BIG EAST play with wins over Georgetown and Seton Hall last week.

Seton Hall alum and current Wildcat Taylor Jakubowski returned to her home of four years in a different uniform. She recorded a double-double in the Wildcat win and now leads the team in digs. She ranks second in assists this season and has become a leader on this 9-4 Villanova team.

Save the Date! On Tuesday, October 8, Villanova will celebrate its eighth annual 1842 Day! Join us—for the first time in connection with the University's day of giving—in shaping the future of Villanova’s student-athletes by supporting Friends of Nova (FON), the official Name, Image and Likeness collective empowering Wildcats across all varsity sports.

In honor of the 1985 Men’s Basketball Championship team, there is a special challenge: if FON reaches 85 new members or contributors, an additional $50,000 will be unlocked. Be part of this legacy and double your impact!

Visit friendsofnova.com on Tuesday, October 8 to make your gift!
