That’s right, join the kickoff to an incredible Homecoming weekend at today’s pep rally!
Nova nation, you’ve got 8️⃣ chances to see your ‘Cats compete locally this weekend.
🔼 Drive For Five. The 11th-ranked Villanova football team is back at home this weekend looking to extend its winning streak to five when the Great Danes of Albany roll into town for a Saturday afternoon tilt at Villanova Stadium.
Sitting at 5-2 overall and 4-1 in league play, the ‘Cats look to stay in the race near the top of the CAA standings, just a game back of league-leading Rhode Island and Monmouth.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 pm.
🔼 There He Goes Again. Two of the top teams in the NBA’s Eastern Conference squared off in the season opener on Wednesday night, and in a shocker to no one, Villanova alum Jalen Brunson balled out.
Brunson poured in 23 points, dished out five assists and grabbed in four rebounds to lead the Knicks to a season-opening 119-111 home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
🔼 Eight Men In. Jalen Brunson wasn’t the only former Wildcat in the action on NBA opening night as Villanova has eight alums on NBA rosters to kickoff the 2025-26 campaign.
