🔼 ‘Cats On Display. Veterans Devin Royal (21) and Tyler Perkins (20) combined for 41 points as the Villanova men’s hoops squad concluded their exhibition portion of the 2026-27 schedule on Thursday night against No. 9 Virginia at Finneran Pavilion.
Freshman center Luigi Suigo chipped in 12 points and Jake Fiegen added eight points and four rebounds off the bench for the ‘Cats.
Up next: A Nov. 1st date with Notre Dame at the Eternal City Tip-Off in Rome.

🔼 The Wright Stuff. On Thursday night, Villanova head coach Jay Wright was officially enshrined among college basketball’s all-time greats.
The National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Celebration for the Class of 2026 was held last night at the College Basketball Experience in Kansas City, Missouri with Wright as one of the six inductees.
Wright was also inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.
🔼 Mighty Morgan. Junior Morgan Kotch continued her outstanding campaign with a stellar showing in her home state, scoring both goals in Villanova’s 2-0 win at Seton Hall on Wednesday night.
The victory keeps Villanova unbeaten through 14 games, marking the second-longest unbeaten streak in program history since the 2006 team went 15 games without a loss. They are one of only three teams in the country that are still unbeaten.
Kotch, a native of Yardville, N.J., notched her second brace of the season in the victory. She led all players with five shots and three on goal.
🔼 Among The Elite. Two members of Villanova's stout defensive unit landed spots on TopDrawerSoccer's Women's Midseason Top 100 Players List.
Junior defender Meredith Palmer was No. 40 on the ledger while graduate goalkeeper Hannah Dickinson was No. 85.
The veteran duo have been a part of a Villanova backfield that has racked up 10 shutouts this season with the WIldcats allowing just six goals through the first 14 games. Those 10 clean sheets are the most for the program since the 2007 team recorded 14.
🔼 No Place Like Home(coming). Villanova Football returns to the Main Line on Saturday afternoon for a highly anticipated Homecoming showdown against No. 11/12 Lehigh.
Tomorrow’s matchup also serves as a rematch of last season's FCS playoff meeting, when Villanova defeated Lehigh 14-7 in the second round on its way to the national semifinals. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 15-5.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. at Villanova Stadium.
