🔼 National Recognition. Women’s soccer player Myla McLeod earned a spot on Top Drawer Soccer’s Team of the Week! She recorded two points last week as the Wildcats produced back-to-back clean sheets. She scored the first goal of her career against Marquette on Thursday.

🏆 Hannah Dickinson earned her third spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this week. She was in goal for all 180 minutes last week, holding Marquette and UConn scoreless. She has recorded six solo shutouts this season.

🔜 The women’s soccer team will play their final home game of the regular season tomorrow against Georgetown at 3 p.m.

🔼 Murphy’s MVP. The BIG EAST Male Cross Country Athlete of the Week is Villanova’s own Liam Murphy! He was the individual runner-up at the Princeton Fall Classic that the Wildcats won last weekend. He has finished in the top-three in both of his starts this season. The Wildcats are preparing for the BIG EAST Championships on November 1.

🔼  Made A Splash. Women’s swimmer Martina Lonati was named the BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week! She started the season strong against UConn with three top-three finishes. She won the 100 butterfly and took third in the 200 free and 100 free. The Wildcats will host Georgetown on Saturday at the Villanova Swim Complex.

🔼 Home, Sweet Home. The men’s soccer team returns home today after back-to-back road matches. They’ll host Georgetown at 3 p.m. to start their three-game home stand. The last time the ‘Cats were home, they defeated Columbia 3-2. This match is a Bonus Student Lottery game, all students attending will receive bonus points ahead of basketball season.

🔼 On The Road, Again. Villanova volleyball will hit the road to the Big Apple tonight! They’ll play at St. John’s at 7 p.m. The Wildcats rank second in the conference for assists and third in kills and hitting percentage. St. John’s ranks 13th nationally in assists and 17th in kills. Fans can stream the match on ESPN+.
