Abby Harrell led the match with 21 kills and added 10 digs. Cat Young notched a career-best 15 kills and led the team with 15 digs. Both earned their second double-double in just as many days.

🔼 ‘Cats On Top. The men’s cross country team won the Princeton Fall Classic on Friday! Three Wildcats finished in the top nine, as Liam Murphy, Marco Langon and Bailey Habler crossed the finish line within 30 seconds of each other. Murphy was the individual runner-up of the meet. They’ll compete next at the BIG EAST Championships on November 1.
🔼 Five On It. The women’s cross country team finished fifth at the Princeton Fall Classic. All five scoring Wildcats finished in the top 50 out of nearly 25o runners. Sadie Sigfstead led the team with a ninth-place finish. They will also race next at the BIG EAST Championships on November 1.
🔼 Streak Snapped. Villanova football’s three-game winning streak came to an end on Saturday when they fell at Maine 35-7. The lone Wildcat touchdown came in when backup quarterback Tanner Maddocks scored on a seven-yard rush. Villanova returns home for the first time since September 28 to host New Hampshire on Saturday.
🔼 Cleanup Crew. The women’s soccer team recorded their second-straight clean sheet. Both Villanova and UConn were held scoreless, ending in a 0-0 draw. The Wildcats have recorded seven shutouts this season. They’ll play their final home game of the regular season on Thursday, hosting Georgetown.
