🔼 Coming Home. The red-hot Villanova football team is coming home this weekend as the 14th-ranked Wildcats get set to host Hampton in a critical CAA matchup.
Coming off a thrilling road win at Elon, the ‘Cats jumped four spots in this week’s national poll and sit just a game back in the league standings.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Villanova Stadium.
Following the game, all kids in 8th grade and younger - with an accompanying adult - can come onto the field and score a touchdown as part of Parent-Child Touchdown Toss Day!

🔼 So Fresh, So Clean. For the third straight game and eighth time this season, the Villanova women’s soccer team earned a clean sheet in a thrilling 3-0 home victory over Marquette on Wednesday afternoon.
Avrie Nelsen extended her team-leading goal tally to five in the win, netting the game-winner early. Gabby Koluch and Olivia Marrone joined her in the scoring carousel with Villanova's third home win that saw the 'Cats score at least two goals.
🔼 Just Getting Started. When you score your first collegiate goal at a critical time, you earn some accolades.
That was the case for Villanova men’s soccer freshman Zach Miles, who was named the Philly Soccer Six’s Rookie of the Week.
Last Saturday, Miles re-directed a feed from Javon Daniels into the goal in the 41st minute of a key BIG EAST match against Seton Hall.
🔼 Pleading The Fifth. The Villanova men’s golf squad had a strong showing at the rain-shortened Georgetown Intercollegiate this week in Westfield, N.J., earning a fifth-place finish overall.
Vibhav Alokam was VU's top finisher, coming in at 11th after shooting 150 (+8) at Echo Lake. Alokam’s second round highlight came on hole two with an eagle. Matt Zerfass finished 17th, going 9-over for the tournament.

🔼 Makin’ Waves. It didn’t take long for freshman Hugh Boris to make an impression on the Villanova swimming program.
After just one meet, Boris was named this week’s BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week. He made an impressive collegiate debut at the NJIT Invitational, sweeping the breaststroke events and contributing to a second-place finish in the 400-medley relay (3:24.57).
🔼 Sneak Peek. Women’s Basketball season is just around the corner, and we have the perfect way to celebrate.
