Good morning! Villanova volleyball had their pink match in support of breast cancer awareness over the weekend. Hear who they were playing for.

🔼 Deuces. The women’s soccer team celebrated Senior Day with a 2-2 draw with St. John’s. The Wildcats had the lead until St. John’s scored the tying goal with 30 seconds remaining. Susanna Soderman scored both of Villanova’s goals. She now leads the team with five goals this season. Hannah Dickinson recorded a season-high 11 saves. The Wildcats hit the road on Thursday to play at Marquette.

🔼 All Split Up. The men’s golf team will compete at two events this week. Ryan Pamer, Vibhav Alokam, Matt Zerfass, Ian Love and Peter Barros will play as a team at the Georgetown Intercollegiate today and tomorrow. Six Wildcats will play as individuals at the Chestnut Hill Invitational today and tomorrow — Vimal Alokam, Cameron Besaw, Joshua Lavely, Jackson Lehner, Nathan Marion and Gus Vickers.

🔼  Defensive Duel. The field hockey team fell in a low-scoring battle to No. 19 Liberty on Friday. Just one goal was scored with over two minutes left as Liberty won 1-0. Maddie Sears finished the game with three saves. They’ll play at Old Dominion on Friday at 3 p.m.

🔼  Too-Late Rally. The men’s soccer team fell to Akron 3-2 after trying to put together a late rally. The Wildcats scored twice in the final 14 minutes. Jason Bouregy and Jorge Garcia scored the Wildcat goals. Freshman Alex Yagudayev recorded six saves in the goal.
