🔼 BIG EAST Baller. Villanova forward Eric Dixon has been named the BIG EAST and Big Five Men’s Basketball Player of the Week! He leads the nation in scoring and led the Wildcats to a 2-0 week with wins over Butler and DePaul. He averaged 26.5 points per game last week, shooting 51.2% from the field and 45.0% from three-point range.

🔼 ‘Cats & Dogs. The men’s basketball team is back in The Finn tonight! They’ll host No. 9 UConn, presented by NJM Insurance, at 6:30 p.m. The Huskies entered the season as two-time NCAA champions. Both teams have done well in conference play as UConn sits undefeated and Villanova sits 3-1. The Wildcats are winners of seven of their last eight games. This will be UConn’s first trip to Finneran Pavilion since 1995.

🔼  Road Trip. The women’s basketball team hits the road to Washington, D.C. for a BIG EAST road trip! They’ll play Georgetown tonight at 7 p.m. Both teams sit 1-2 in conference play with losses to No. 7 UConn and Seton Hall.

🔼 Back From Break. Villanova swimming heads to Florida to start off 2025! The Wildcat men and women will visit No. 22/25 Florida State today. The men head to Tallahassee with a 4-1 record, while the women are 3-1.
