š¼ Road Trip. The menās basketball team hits the road to Milwaukee for a Friday night matchup with No. 10 Marquette at 7 p.m. Fans at home can tune in on FS1 or listen to the radio broadcast on the Villanova Sports Radio Network on iHeart. The Wildcats are looking to bounce back from a one-point loss to Georgetown on Monday. Jordan Longino has averaged 14 points in his last six games.
š¼ Home, Sweet Home. The womenās basketball team returns home from a road trip to host Xavier tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Wildcats fell at No. 6 UConn 100-57 on Wednesday. Jasmine Bascoe led the āCats with 15 points and a team-high four assists. Thatās in the rearview mirror as Villanova looks to turn things around tomorrow as they face an Xavier team that hasnāt won a game on the road.
š¼ Threeās Company. The womenās lacrosse team has been picked to finish third in the BIG EAST Preseason Poll! Four Wildcats earned spots on the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team ā Mary Moore, Sydney Pappas, Emma Verhoest and Maddy Stoddard. The season will begin on February 8 against Binghamton.
The menās lacrosse team also earned a No. 3 ranking in the BIG EAST Preseason Poll! Defender Jack Shoemaker and attacker Matt Licata earned Preseason All-BIG EAST honors.
š¼ Lead The League. Villanova softball has been projected to finish first in the BIG EAST Preseason Poll for the second-straight season! The Wildcats are the reigning conference champions and have won three of the last four titles. The season begins in just under two weeks! Click here to preview the Wildcats.
