🔼 Rhode To Victory. For the seventh time in the past eight games, the Villanova men’s hoops team put another tally in the win column.

On Tuesday night, the Wildcats used a balanced offensive attack to pull out a hard-fought 88-82 road win over Providence.

Devin Askew supplied 20 points off the bench while Tyler Perkins added 15 points, including huge baskets midway through the second half to help Nova hold off a series of Friars' rallies.

On Monday night, Donte DiVincenzo became the 16th Villanova alum to reach 5,000 career points in the NBA.

Who was the first former Wildcat to accomplish that feat?

🔼 Making The List. Villanova freshman sensation Acaden Lewis continues to turn heads in the BIG EAST.

This week, Lewis earned his third spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after he averaged 20.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in a 1-1 week for Villanova.

Against Creighton, the freshman guard finished with 20 points, four boards, seven assists, and three steals.  In a win at Marquette, Lewis again tallied 20 points to go with eight assists.

🔼 Movin’ On. For the second straight season, Villanova alum Christian Benford is movin’ on in the NFL playoffs.

Benford and the Buffalo Bills won a thriller in Jacksonville on Sunday to advance to next weekend’s divisional round where they will travel to Denver to battle the top-seeded Broncos.

The former Wildcat had three tackles and a pass deflection in Sunday’s win.

🔼 New Year, Same Goal. 24 days. That’s all that separates us from the return of the Villanova men’s lacrosse squad.

The Wildcats are in full preparation mode with the 2026 campaign right around the corner. The opener is set for Saturday, Feb. 13 against #9 Penn State in State College.
