📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Check It. The men’s lacrosse team will play host to No. 11 Georgetown for their regular season finale! Both teams are fighting for the highest seed possible in next week’s Big East Tournament. With a win, the Wildcats could be a No. 2 seed in the tournament. They’ll play tonight at 7 pm at Villanova Stadium, fans are encourage to wear light blue!

Scouting the Hoyas:

  • Georgetown is coming off a 20-6 win over St. Johns

  • They rank 11th in the nation with a .331 shot percentage

  • They rank ninth in the nation with 14.5 turnovers per game

  • They allow nine goals per game

🔼 Fight For First. Villanova softball will head to Connecticut for a big three game series at UConn. Both teams have only lost one conference series this season. The Big East regular season title and the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament is on the line. First pitch is at 3 pm today — today and Sunday’s games will stream on FloSoftball, while tomorrow’s 6 pm matchup will air nationally on FS1.

🔼  Road Trip. The baseball team is also at UConn this weekend for a Big East series. The Huskies are ranked first in the conference. Jake Francis will get the start for the Wildcats today at 6:05 pm. He holds the team’s lowest ERA at 3.38. Tomorrow’s game will start at 2:05 pm with Luke McCollough on the mound. They’ll wrap things up on Sunday at 1:05 pm and Devin Rivera will get the start.

🔷 ONE BIG THING

Make A Splash. The women’s water polo team picked up some MAAC honors this week! Senior attacker Stella Byles was named All-MAAC Second Team after leading the Wildcats with 76 goals, the ninth-most in a single season in program history. The Wildcats finished the season with the second-most wins in program history. The team also placed 12 student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team! Amelia Baca, Stella Byles, Isabel Foley, Emma Grabenstetter, Adrienne Grimes, Coco Jones, Gracin Kerry, Ella Mattocks, Anna Painter, Tiana Parris, Abigail Shelby, and Sara Withers were all recognized for two full semesters of a 3.20 GPA or higher. Villanova had the second-most honorees in the conference.
