📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Survive & Advance. The women’s tennis team clinched a hard fought 4-3 win over Seton Hall in the first round of the Big East Tournament! The Wildcats took the doubles point before Jenna Stevens, Lauren Monti, and Valieriia Kornieva secured points in their singles matches. They advance to the quarterfinals where they’ll meet DePaul today at 12:45 pm.

🔼 Barks & Baseball. We have a fun weekend in store at Villanova Ballpark as the baseball team hosts Creighton. They’ll get things started today at 3 pm and it’s Bark in the Park day! Bring your pup for a Villanova baseball bandana and collapsible water bowl. There will also be free Chick-fil-a, plus it’s Salute to Service night. The fun continues tomorrow at 1 pm as the team hosts Youth Day where there will be a mini baseball giveaway and autographs after the game. The series will conclude on Sunday at noon and you can enjoy lunch from Calaveras Street Tacos food truck.

🔼 Crunch Time. The men’s lacrosse team is playing at Marquette tomorrow at 1 pm. With a win, the Wildcats could clinch a spot in the conference tournament! They’re coming off a big win over St. Johns last week that earned Ryan Cunningham Big East Freshman of the Week. Villanova sits 7-5 overall, while Marquette is 4-8.

🔼 Hunting History. The women’s lacrosse team is also looking to secure a spot in the Big East Tournament. They’re hosting No. 12 Denver tomorrow at 1 pm in their final home game of the season. The ‘Cats are looking to beat Denver for the first time since they joined the conference in 2017. They’re coming off a big win 18-8 over Xavier. Emma Verhoest earned Freshman of the Week after tying the program record with 16 draws.

🔼 Trip To The Windy City. Villanova softball is road tripping to Chicago this weekend as they hunt their fourth Big East sweep of the year at DePaul. The ‘Cats are at the top of the conference, while the Blue Demons are at the bottom. First pitch is at 3:30 pm today with the series continuing tomorrow at 2 pm. They’ll wrap things up on Sunday at 1 pm. All three games will stream on FloSoftball.
