📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Smarty ‘Cats. Four Villanova softball student-athletes landed on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team! Caroline Pellicano, Lilly St. Jean, Tess Cites, and Elaina Wagner got it done on the field and in the classroom. The softball team made history this season, going to the furthest round of the NCAA Tournament the Wildcats have ever reached.

🔼 On The Gus Bus. The golf team announced the signing of Gus Vickers! He’s a graduate transfer from Stevens Institute of Technology, where he was a four year starter. He was named MAC Freedom Golfer of the Year twice and a member of the All-Conference First Team all four years. In 2023 and 2024, he was named PING All-Region. Gus will be pursing a Masters of Science in Finance at Villanova.

🔼 Matt Attack. The golf team also signed junior transfer Matt Zerfass! He comes to Villanova from Saint Joseph’s University, where he spent the last two seasons. His top finish was a tie for third place at the Cornell Invitational this past season. At the 2024 Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf Championships, he tied for 37th. The Macungie, Pennsylvania native earned 2019-20 Player of the Year from The Morning Call.
