📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Looking Ahead. Villanova baseball fell in a back and forth battle at Saint Joseph’s yesterday. Aidan Barry hit his first career home run as the Wildcats trailed 3-0. He then singled to right field to score AJ Hansen and bring Villanova within one run. The Wildcats took the lead in the fifth, before the Hawks hit a solo shot to bounce back. The battle continued until the game finished with the Hawks winning 8-6. Villanova will head to Cincinnati for the last series of the year against Xavier.
🔼 Senior Celebration. As we celebrate Senior Week on campus, the student-athletes and athletic department came together to celebrate the year. The seniors from each program received commemorative watches and four student-athletes took home awards. Track & field athletes Roschell Clayton and Liam Murphy were named Senior Student-Athletes of the Year. Women’s basketball’s Kylie Swider and men’s soccer’s Gray Ricca received the annual Sister Mary Margaret Cribben Awards.
🔼 Send Them On Their Way. Come on out to St. Mary’s (West Campus) to send the softball team off to the Fayetteville Regional at 10:15 this morning! They’ll take on Arizona on Friday at 6 p.m. at Arkansas’ Bogle Park. Fans can tune in on ESPN+.
🔼 Liz’s New House. Meet the newest Villanova volleyball assistant coach, Liz House! She spent the last two seasons at Florida State as a volunteer assistant at first, then became an assistant coach. She worked with the back-row players mainly, focusing on defensive skill development. Before entering the coaching world, Liz played at Dayton and totaled 488 total digs.
